Minji Hong

Biography

Minji Hong is an artist whose practice centers on wall objects exploring stillness, light, and material presence. Working through restrained form and surface, her objects draw from the proportions of traditional Korean soban furniture, recontextualized as contemplative structures rather than functional items. Subtle shifts in surface and reflection invite sustained looking.

She graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York, where she studied textiles and fashion.

Her oil paintings have global reach and have been exhibited and auctioned at the Singapore National Botanic Gardens.
